willywoody
This month's Stereophile magazine has a nice article on Nels, in case anyone's interested to check it out. What I've read so far has not told me anything I didn't already know but I'm only halfway through it.

W(TF)
So what's the deal, are the guys really audiophiles? I know Jeff's a big vinyl hound and he said recently he thinks the LP is the only good-sounding copy of Wilco's studio albums. I kind of opted out of the scene a few years ago, well, into DIY for the satisfaction as well as financial considerations (second family). I still read Art Dudley once in a while, but he's really in a league of one as audio scribes go. Btw, $phile gave SBS a very complimentary (and I think accurate) review when it came out.http://www.stereophile.com/recordingofthemonth/607rotm/
jff
guess i'm the only one reading stereophile these days. no wonder i got a year's subscription for 8 bucks. I've been to Borders twice since you started this thread and have looked for Stereophile both times. Either they don't carry it, or they file it with non-music magazines. Is this interview available online?
W(TF)
It'll be there with the audio equipment mags (Sound & Vision, etc.).
