Duck-Billed Catechist
I am really enjoying this album. I did not hear the first one, though, and I have read that they are rather similar. http://www.sendspace.com/file/jdez9bFlashlight Fight featuring Chuck Dhttp://www.sendspace.com/file/3j9adeThe Wrath of Marcie
skyflynn
I got a huge kick out of the first one. I'm so out of it that it may be years before I hear this.
Welsh Rich
It is a great album - it's like a sugar rush though, it's just a ferocious attack on your ears.
Sir Stewart
Thanks Jorge - I loved the first one for awhile, then had to put it down (indeed like a sugar rush).
solace
this one is a better record than the first, but the first has a couple better singles i think gets old after a while, but still a blast. they're really fun live too
Welsh Rich
Yeah, an absolute hoot live. They nicely mixed things up at ATP this year just when everyone was getting bored of post- and muso-rock
imsjry
Yeah, an absolute hoot live. They nicely mixed things up at ATP this year just when everyone was getting bored of post- and muso-rock  I saw them open for Sonic Youth and I think they are the only band on the planet that could make Sonic Youth seem bland by comparison. They were amazing live. However, I got their disc and never play it. After seeing the show, the disc just couldn't compare.
Sir Stewart
I got sick of each of these new songs before they were over. The shtick is done.
EL the Famous
I got sick of each of these new songs before they were over. The shtick is done. Â Much like the last one, I can only listen to it for a couple of spins and then have to put it away for a while...then it's fun again.
Somnambulist
I loved the first one and am digging the second one. I like the use of horns and the fact that they're not afraid of instrumantals. They're like the Beta Band with a dose of Motown and BubbleGum pop.
solace
far as i'm aware, the horns, like the first record, are sampled
Somnambulist
far as i'm aware, the horns, like the first record, are sampled If they're sampled or live, I still like that they use horns as part of their collage. Like "The Underdog" on Spoon's new album, the horns make the tune. Even the word/raps/etc. are so down in the mix that they're almost like another instrument. It must be fun working on this type of album with samples, live stuff, etc. I love the way the drums are recorded/sampled. They have that big sound like the Beta Band 3eps and Flaming Lips Soft Bulletin.
Duck-Billed Catechist
I still like it.

mrman
does Chuck do his usual "seig heil Minister Farrakhan" thing on it?
