ike67
I was able to collaborate on a poster design for the recent Milwaukee show and as a result was given tickets to the Detroit show. After a successful effort to have our poster signed, we were able to sit in on the sound check at the Fox Theatre on Wednesday afternoon. As a huge Wilco fan, this show was unlike any other concert/music situation I have experienced. Other than sound men & ushers, my buddy Mock & I were 2 of 6 people listening to a 7 song "set" as the band dialed in their sound for the show that night (which by all accounts was amazing). The band acknowledged the sound check fans and were funny gracious and loose...All that & then Andrew Bird did his sound check....unbelieveavble, to be so close to all this wonderful music. I captured as much of the scene on video before my battery died. Here is a link to my recap & videos:http://thelonemicrophone.blogspot.com/2007...t-to-print.html A huge thank you to the band and the management for the opportunity....truly a once in a lifetime!! Hope to get more video up soon.

ike67
At Management's request, I have removed my clips of the Fox Theatre sound check. Everyone at TMMI has treated me with the greatest respect, so as much as I know people want to see those clips, I have deleted them from YouTube.Sorry for any confusion and my apologies for any trouble posting the video may have caused. Thanks.
