mollyegan
I apologize if this is repeated, but I haven't seen it discussed thus far. Although many have pointed out flaws in the movie- I can't get over Marion Cotillard's performance-phenomenal...and I loved the soundtrack. I LOVE this film...anyone else? jimmyjimmy
Enjoyed it quite a bit. Cotillard's performance was fantastic. Her ability to convey frantic desperation was truly compelling. I liked the overall look of the film, thought it was shot beautifully.
mollyegan
Although she was my favortie performance, I was surprised/delighted that Marion Cotillard won over sentimental favorite Julie Christie, et al....if you haven't seen this movie- please do! Beltmann
She was astonishing--her performance definitely makes watching the movie worthwhile--but the movie itself, I thought, was fairly unadventurous. I'm glad I saw it in the theater, because I might have fallen asleep during a DVD.
noyes
Saw it with my girlfriend several months ago. A wonderful bio-pic, and Marion was beautiful as Edith.Highly recommended.
