Sweet Papa Crimbo
Make that...people are FUCKING nuts DALLAS MORNING NEWS Michael Bland saw his neighbor pull his 2006 Jeep out of the garage of his Sanger home about 10 a.m. Thursday and park his pickup, with his boat attached, next to it on the driveway. An hour later, smoke was pouring from the house across Country View Lane. Inside lay the burned bodies of a man and woman. Outside, in the Jeep, were the couple's four dogs, along with dog food, water, instructions about their care and a sheaf of documents. The fire was intentionally set, said Denton Emergency Coordinator Jody Gonzalez, who is in charge of the investigation. "We believe gasoline was poured throughout the house," Mr. Gonzalez said. The couple's names and cause of death have not been released, pending an autopsy and results of a fire marshal investigation. "There was no visible trauma to the bodies other than the fire. Suicide or murder-suicide are options," Mr. Gonzalez said. "But we are still investigating." Mr. Gonzalez said the man and woman were found in the master bedroom. One was lying on the bed and the other was on the floor. The fire appeared to have started in the living room near the hallway and was confined to the foyer and living room, the hall and the master bedroom, he said. Several area fire departments responded to help Sanger firefighters extinguish the flames, and it was soon out with little damage to the outside of the house. The Jeep is registered to Larry G. Fielding, 64, and Marlene L. Fielding, 53, whose listed address is where the fire occurred in the 8000 block of Country View Lane in northern Denton County. "We saw him getting the boat out and we just thought they were going to the lake," said Michael Bland's wife, Judy. The couple waved and greeted their neighbors when they were out in the yard, the Blands said, but didn't socialize much in the neighborhood. "She loved her dogs," Ms. Bland said. "She was always out there walking them." Two shelties, a sheltie mix and an Australian sheep dog sat in the back of the Jeep, trembling, as television helicopters roared overhead and fire and police vehicles arrived. Sheriff's Deputy Kirk Sissney came to get the dogs. He gently lifted each one from the Jeep and placed it in the animal services truck. He called a sheltie rescue group, he said. They will care for the dogs until it can be determined whether family members want them. "They'll have contact with people and be well cared for that way," Deputy Sissney said. "And if they need to be adopted out, they'll already be with people who will do that."

What's totally fucking nuts is when stuff like this happens and they kill their pets along with themselves.
