Knepps
I am absolutly ecstatic for this show!!! I stumbled on your nice forum you guys have here and I just have to say that for someone of Wilco's caliber to be playing my hometown is fantastic. Most of townies were in shock that we could see a quality show here in town instead of making the trek up the twin cities. Being the largest city in the state besides the twin cities the quality of music in this town is lacking but if this is an omen I'll be very pleased. Having one of my favorite bands come to my town is unheard of! Hope some of you make the trek up here for the April 30th show. Oh yeah, this will be my first time seeing the boys live...am I in for a treat?
Brundog
I used to live in Rochester, 4 blocks from where they are playing. Before that I lived in Fargo. I couldn't believe it when I saw the back to back nights of Fargo and Rochester... all those times I drove so many miles to see them! I live in Minneapolis now so will be driving that familiar Rochester to Minneapolis route in reverse this time And Yes, the show will be amazing.

Oh yeah, this will be my first time seeing the boys live...am I in for a treat? I have to agree that I am in utter shock that Wilco is playing in Rochester. I grew up 10 minutes from mayo civic and when I was living there it was a huge deal if the Oak Ridge Boys were playing! My 70 year old parents called to tell me they saw the show advertised in the Post-Bulletin, and they couldn't wait to brag to their farmer friends that they know all about "some band called Wilco," from their Grandkids. I wish I could be there, esp. to meet other fans! I am so curious how many locals will be there vs. twin cities folks.......oh and of course, you ARE in for a treat! randrus5
Rochester, NY would be nice. The boys haven't hit NY in several years...and NYC doesn't count.
