kidsmoke
The brilliant Dick Martin, best known from Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In, has passed on to the great laugh-in in the sky. Dick, my deepest gratitude for all the laughs that helped me survive those awful late-60's years and beyond! May you find much to laugh at in heaven. Rest in peace. Sock it to me. mountain bed
When I was just a child my folks would let me stay up and watch Laugh-In if I'd been well behaved that day. I have no idea why a kid 6-8 years old would want to watch that stuff (much of it was over my head I'm sure) but I'm pretty certain it had something to do with my warped sense of humor. Osmosis, I guess. RIP Dick. Thanks for your finely developed theater of the absurd.
bjorn_skurj
I LOVED that show when I was a wee bjorn. RIP, Dick.
LouieB
Rowan and Martin were a strange phenom....they came from seemingly nowhere (unlike the Smothers Brothers) and then went back to nowhere once the show was canceled. But the show itself was so fun, yet so much of its time (like the Monkees) that it is hard to imagine those years without it. LouieB
