World-premiering as the opening-night film of the 2008 Venice International Film Festival; a dark spy-comedy from Academy Award winners Joel and Ethan Coen.

i vaguely remember reading a book with the same title, i'm not sure whether or not the film is based on the book.

It's not from the same writer as No Country for Old Men? I read an interview with that writer somewhere that they had talked about doing other things.

 

I felt like I got hit with a few of those slugs by the end of "No Country."

D'oh!! Not even close!!

 

That looks fantastic. Brad Pitt is great the more offbeat he plays. Looks like a clever script.
