YES, 2008 was an incredibly prolific period for relevant, excellent, creative, and fantastic music.

Artiists too many to mention have been covered on this very site (we could always make 'em up- forward regression, what economy?, Big SillyStupid, DownlukSoseriouss, boy)

 

Thanks, for without your contributions and handiwork, i may have never discovered such artists.

The Dead released 4 new live compilations, and a cd/dvd set of the Egypt shows in 2008. And the surviving members got together to do a couple of benefits for Obama. So yeah, it was a great year for music. :stunned
