I'll be walking on Team Trudy in the National Multiple Sclerosis Society "Walk MS: Philadelphia Art Museum 2009" (that's right, the Rocky Steps) on May 3. Team Trudy is named in honor of my mom, who passed away in 2005 after a 23-year struggle with the disease, a slow, steady loss of physical abilities. I could throw in lots of statistics and medical buzz words here, but suffice it to say it's very, very tough. Your donation would go a long ways toward research for a cure, education and programs to help those with MS (78% goes that way, the rest to fundraising/administration).

I'm sorry to hear about your mom. I have MS, myself (diagnosed in 1995) and am, thankfully doing well.
