So for those of you keeping trackthere are like a ton of no fi bandittes out there these days and yea w.e Im still waiting around for the new Pavement so this stuff is just filler for like now.But this band Woods with their record Songs of Shame are almost like the new pavement and I know this because I had a dream about the new pavementthe only majior diffrence is that neither of these Woods guys have that special thing called personality. But still the record reeks of weirdness and reminds me very much if infact yes Westing era Pavement think BOX ELDER though not reallly, yyou know? There are 12 great songs oin this record a stellar openner called oh shit I forgot. My only sccuffle with this band is that they have one foot in the future and one foot in 2005 , they have this great Dinasour jr style of indie swing guitar licks and rolling drums mixed up with 2005 style freak folw twee bullshit sufjan falsetto vocals, I can still dig it but I need soime gutsss.
