GM claims Volt will get 230 MPG

Thats a made up number, really. It gets infinity miles per gallon up to 40 miles since it runs off electricity, so the EPA has to sort of make up a way for how to round that with the actual MPG it gets once the electricity runs out. And since it costs $40,000 for parts, its not going to be the cheapest car on the market. Hopefully in a couple years there will be a lot of these though.
