PopTodd
I was at a friend's house last night; he's an audiophile, of sorts. (Has a great stereo that he still wants to upgrade.)Anyway, he put on the 200g vinyl remaster of Neil Young - Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere ("I HAVE to play this for you; you NEED to hear how amazing this sounds!) Oh my lord... Best-sounding recording I have ever heard.Easily. Those of you with a great stereo and turntable: get this.I cannot describe how amazing it sounds. Wild Frank
I am gonna have to pick these up. I bought the Archives DVD set and the CD remasters last year but I am hearing very good things about these vinyl's. There is an interesting 'making of' for the vinyl box-set over on 'Thrasher's Wheat'. I might need to take out a bank loan he Neil keeps on at this pace with his releases!! p.s: The 'Dreamin Man' live album is also very very good.
Analogman
We had some discussion about the vinyl re-masters in this thread. It's not really a good idea to post links where people can illegally obtain commercially available music.
