So today I went to sign into Via Chicago and i was given the option of signing in via my Facebook account. I've seen this on other sites, so the idea isn't new to me. I actually like the integration. My question is how will this work on Via Chicago in the future. Should we expect to see any changes to the forums to take advantage of the integration?

it's mostly for new members... it makes signing up a lot quicker/easier

 

you can also do it via Twitter account as well.

 

there's SOME integration with both tho... if you connect your accounts you can have it sync your Twitter or Facebook profile photo with your Via avatar and/or profile photo, as well as update your status from Via or vice versa.

 

still getting the hang of all the new features of 3.1, but the BEST one is the new Mobile Theme is actually iPhone/Android optimized, unlike the lame old one . there's also a dedicated Invision Power Board iPhone app that should work too.
