sonicshoulder Posted October 12, 2010 Share Posted October 12, 2010 I found an old Magnavox console for $5 at a yard sale. Straight out of the 70's... It's freakin beatiful. Tuner,cassette,8-track, and a direct drive turntable that plays 45s great but all my 33s are playing too fast. I put a 45 on the 33 setting to see if it wasn't switching speeds but the 33 setting is not playing at 45rpm. I see some set/adjustment screws but don't want to just start moving things I don't need to move. I'd love to get this thing jammin for the garage. The number on the back of the speakers starts with "ONK", wondering if they are Onkyos. I would think Magnavox was using it's own speakers but who knows.
