AcornThreeOaks
Hey! I know there are other links posting the tour schedule for Autumn Defense, but the tour kicks off in Three Oaks, Michigan on Saturday night (November 6) at The Acorn Theater! This is a great intimate venue (seats about 260) with a full bar and great acoustics. I think tickets are still available: 269-756-3879 and they are cheap: $15. paulcalypse
Oh darn! I hope you can sell more. Autumn Defense was awesome at Solid Sound, and I'm looking forward to seeing them again. A friend of mine plays bass for a burlesque show that performed at Acorn. He said it was an awesome venue, and I'm really looking forward to Saturday.
paulcalypse
The show was great! We got there early and had a chance to chat with John and Pat for a good 10 minutes. I learned that John loves Bell's Two Hearted Ale! I didn't make an effort to remember the setlist, but they closed the encore with a cover of Big Star's "You Can't Have Me" which sounded awesome. Tweedy showed up with his fam about halfway through the opener's set. They were no where to be seen once the show was over. Real incognito, Jeff, haha. This venue is seriously one of my favorites ever, I think. The sound was fantastic, seats were comfortable, staff was really nice, and the bar had good beer. Afterwards they let the band hang out in the lobby area to sign stuff.
Shakespeare In The Alley
Was it a full band thing?
