PopTodd
You know, just something like this:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5S3O2b9NFZ4with just a single image. Or, how to lay new audio over existing video? There is somebody requesting something, and I would like to deliver. Thanks.
lamradio
Well if you were going to do a simple video with a webcam, if you have a PC you can just record the video using said webcam with Windows Movie Maker. Movie Maker makes it really easy (basically plug in the camera, and movie maker runs you through a wizard). I'm sure MACs have a similar application but I'm not a MAC guy. Then upload the video to youtube. I think youtube even has it's own capture software but don't quote me on that. But if you want to get more hardcore, this is my plan to record an audio/video cover of Wilco song: - Have video camera set up in front of band. - Have mics setup (room mics, vocal mics, etc.) - Mics are running into Pro Tools. - Record audio and video at the same time (live). - Bounce audio to WAV file. - Plug camera to PC and bounce video to avi. - Combine audio and video files in Adobe Premier. Guest kechefs
You can make a simple movie in about 5 minutes using movie maker. You just choose either video or a photo then add the audio. I made this yesterday to show someone else how to do it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iUlUVY-3GLQ

OOO
iMovie on the mac side is what you'd want to use, but yeah, Windows Movie Maker is more than capable of doing either of the things you want to do.
Guest kechefs
PC but I am sure mac has a simple movie maker as well.
TCP
Mac? Try iMovie. I've never used it but I imagine it is to Final Cut what Garage Band is to Logic.
