MattZ
I'm late-ish to the sic alps party. Just saw they broke up last month and that Mike is putting out a solo album. Bummer. One of the best live shows I've seen in awhile. Any other Sic Alpians?
willywoody
Didn't get into them until the last self-titled lp. I have that one and Napa Asylum and a couple of singles. Need to get those last few singles from this past year, which I think are downloadable from Drag City. Thee Oh SeesTySic AlpsMikal CroninKing Tuff I'd say that's where my head's at nowadays. willywoody
Mikal Cronin put on a really fun set at Hopscotch...i caught the 1st half and then split to see Pere Ubu. I wanted to see him in ATL but couldn't make it. My friends who went thoroughly enjoyed the show. He did a great online show for Pitchfork a few months back. http://pitchfork.com/tv/outside-in/1952-mikal-cronin/ and here's cool Sic Alps video channeling early Pink Floyd: Music Videos Sic Alps - Glyphs (Official Music Video)
