Moss Posted September 3, 2011 Share Posted September 3, 2011 So I saw Deadmau5 at Red Rocks the other night. Tommy Lee of Motley Crue fame was one of the opening acts. Basically Tommy's set consisted of a table with a few laptops and him spending most of the time jumping in the air and pumping his fist with extremely loud siren noises and things going off. Boring as hell. So what exactly is a DJ doing up there in a concert like this? I mean does it take any kind of skill or is he basically just hitting play on a few files on the computer? I didn't even really see any turntables or anything. Can anyone explain what exactly is going on up there? That concert made me feel old like no other concert I have ever been too.
