Sir Stewart
This thread is awesome. You left us too soon, you 89 year-old man. I wonder if the funeral procession will leave a trail of white lines behind it.
sonicshoulder
Back when I would get the Cincinnati Enquirer everyday before it fell into the "you couldn't kill a fly with that" status I would seriously read Rex Morgan M.D. to all the guys at the break table. 12 burly construction workers and a boy(me) tuning in for a newspaper soap opera read aloud by an 18 year old. Pretty funny shit. I started reading it as a joke and next thing you know we are having a 15 minute disussion on the possibilites of Rex getting some ass on a house call.."damn it, guess we"ll have to wait till Monday". Now I get USA Today and the only funnies are Al Neuhath's rants.
Doug C
Whatever else one might think of what he created, Mr. Keane provided a safe, dependable place for children. Not a bad legacy, in my book. RIP. This is true. If only Mr. Paterno had been Keane-esque... Whenever I climb I am followed by a dog called 'Ego'.
