bböp
Some more comments when I get a chance, but definitely some nice changeups in the set tonight as compared with the rest of the tour so far. I mean, Laminated Cat/Not For The Season and acoustic Spiders is always great for me personally, but it's nice to get some relative curveballs every once in a while and they definitely came tonight, starting with a very early A Shot in the Arm. More to come, but for now, the complete setlist as played: One Sunday Morning>Poor Places>Art Of AlmostI MightA Shot in the ArmSide With The SeedsCountry DisappearedWar On WarImpossible GermanyBorn AloneRadio CureCapitol CityHandshake DrugsJesus, etc.Whole LoveI Must Be HighDawned On MeHeavy Metal Drummer--------------------------------Via ChicagoHate It HereTheologiansI'm The Man Who Loves YouHummingbird---------------------------------Red-Eyed and Blue>I Got You (At The End of the Century)>Outtasite (Outta Mind)Hoodoo Voodoo (w/ bass/guitar/keyboard tech Josh on cowbell)
rhino4evr
The band was great as usual, however I almost got into a fight with a beligerent person. I have been to about 100 shows, punk, metal, you name it, and I have never felt as threatend as I did last night. Basically runined the last half of the show for me which really sucks. Security finally took care of him by the second encore, but by that time the damage was done..sigh to make matters worse my best friend's wife decided to leave him the day of the concert..so he was an emotional wreck. Had to be one of the strangest most emotionally charging concerts I have ever been too. I am still in shock.
suites
Second night in Back to Back shows for my Son and Myself. Enjoyed both nights but the Miami show had more energy from the band and I liked the set list better. We drive right from Tampa in the AM and ended up at the Fillmore front door at 1:00pm, so we were first in line (in fact only 2 people showed up before 4:00). At some point we were told that there is a Fast Pass at the Fillmore (doubt band knows about this). If you get the fast pass (they only sell 100-150) they let you in before the rest. So we bought the passed ($5.00/each). Really bullshit if you ask me but if they have it I am buying. So we ended up on the stage rail in between Jeff and Nels....best spot. Last hour of the show was spot on....Final Encore with Hoodoo was really fun. Also, got Radio Cure and Must be High (I think for first time ever and I have seen around 15 shows). Also country Disappeared was out of left field. Overall really had a blast on back to back night. Have to say not thrilled with the attendance over the 2 nights. Last time they came to the Fillmore they sold it out...may 1/2 or 2/3 full last night. Does not help us when the band tours again and looks a potential dates in FLA. In case anyone from the band reads this board....I would like to Say THANK YOU TO YOU GUYS and we hope you continue to come down to FLA>
rhino4evr
I don't believe they sold out the first Fillmore show either. I was actually surprised that Radiohead sold out the AA arena when they came here. I actually think it was because Miami was the first stop on the tour, and lots of South Americans flew to Miami for the show. Anyway, it was definitely LESS crowded this time, but that could have had something to do with the awful weather we had.
nalafej
The 2009 show also took place at a time of year when more tourists would be in FL - spring break etc. I was one of them and took in that show. I just compared the setlists from last night and 2009 and Wilco did a great job mixing it up. Very few repeats.
