jimtweedy1977
Back in the summer, I attempted to introduce a blog based upon Wilco shows called City Maps & Handclaps. Due to distractions and some issues with the blog, that blog is no more. I hope to begin that project in book form. However, this blog will feature some music in the future, including some Wilco "mix tapes". Kidsmoke, could you pin this site for others to see under the just a fan section? Thanks. http://trailedbytwentyhounds.blog.com
kidsmoke
Sure, glad to. I know many here will enjoy this.
jimtweedy1977
After more than a month of inactivity, I decided to reboot the site. With a clarity as bright as a lens flare and a dramatic realization of one lost on an island, I decided to refocus my blog to focus directly on the Wilco show review archive. If you go to the old site, you won't find it anymore. This one is a little more streamlined. I'm also making a proposal to folks on this message board. Actually, I'm making a request. I would like to create a community e-book, it could be published later in physical form, but it might be handier for those who have nooks, kindles, ibooks, whatever. I would serve as editor and part-time contributor, but I would like your help. If you would be interested in serving as a contributor, I would be most happy and appreciative to have your help. You can pm me here and tell me shows you would like to review. You can also send me scans of any show-related mementos to include as pictures. Please note that I won't be editing content; you can make it as long or as short as you want. However, keep it clean folks. I will edit for grammar and spelling, but it is up to you to get your passion across to other readers. For the time being, the reviews will be placed on the new version of the website until I can start working out how to create the e-book on Lulu.com. I'd prefer to keep the book as a free download for the community; however if others are open to the idea, I would be open to the idea of charging a small fee (somewhere between $5 & $10) in order to serve as a fundraiser for maintaining Via Chicago. I look forward to hearing from you! Also, check out the first posting that I put up today; this will give you an idea of what format I'm looking for in the reviews. http://citymapsandhandclaps.blog.com
nalafej
Site seems to be down permanently. Maybe it is time for a moderator to unpin this post?
