PopTodd
Interesting question. I will have to give this one some thought.
Atticus
I particularly notice this when I've got my itunes on shuffle/random. the songs are there, at least in theory, because I like them But I notice that some I seem to reflexively skip quite often. This happened with Reservations for awhile. I usually just wasn't in the kind of mood that a song like Reservations would fit. It's such an intense tune. But then I saw them open with it in Austin and fell in love with it again. So now I don't skip over it.

ripthisjoint908
As far as Wilco goes...Deeper Down comes to mind. Otherwise: Sweet Black Angel from Exile, Tom Thumb's from Highway 61.. Everybody's had that feeling of (re)discovering the magic of a tune and having a whole new perspective on it. Beautiful experience really.
