kidsmoke
Ok folks, here's the second part of our Superpowers trilogy. You've made the difficult decision on what superpower would be yours. Debated about it, and finally committed to one. Now it gets fun because in this, Part Two, you get assigned a superpower to go with your self-selected power! That's right, and not by me, but by the gods of randomness. I mean, what superhero ever got to choose his or her own superpower, right? Did Superman? The Flash? Magneto? I have put all 18 superpowers into a hat, stirred vigorously, and plucked one out for each of you, one at a time. I of course returned each slip to the hat and re-stirred each selection, so as to keep it fair and random. If I selected the superpower you had already chosen for yourself, then (and only then) I put the slip back, re-stir, and reselect so that everyone would wind up with 2 superpowers. This actually only happened once (moxie bean, you were clearly intended to be a frequent flyer). Here you go: Doug C. - Chosen superpower: Animal Transmogrification, Assigned superpower: Balancing Anthony - Chosen - Personal Magnetism, Assigned: Spiderperson Moss - Chosen - Invisibility, Assigned: Super Vision High Heat - Chosen: Invisibility, Assigned: Super Speed choo choo Charlie - Chosen: The Diplomat, Assigned: Animal Transmogrification Calvino - Chosen: Invisibility, Assigned: Super Strength Lammycat - Chosen; Invisibility, Assigned: Personal Magnetism Winston Legthigh - Chosen: Invincibility, Assigned: Future Boy the ashtraysays - Chosen: Flying Assigned: The Diplomat ih8music - Chosen: Flying, Assigned: Weather Boy Wilco Me - Chosen: Animal Transmogrification, Assigned: Correct Change smells like flowers - Chosen: Animal Transmogrification, Assigned: Invisibility JCamp - Chosen: Animal Transmogrification, Assigned: Mind Reading moxie bean - Chosen: Flying, Assigned: Freezing Time Bleed Orange - Chosen: Invincibility, Assigned: Future Boy kidsmoke - Chosen: Freezing Time, Assigned: Animal Transmogrification Mr Heartbreak - Chosen: Flying, Assigned: Super Strength Sarah C. - Chosen: Invincibility, Assigned: Animal Transmogrification linclink - Chosen: Weather, Assigned: Personal Magnetism Don Draper - Chosen: Fish Boy, Assigned: Spiderperson Okay, that's everybody. We seem to have a lot of animals amongst us! I hope you are all satisfied with the lot you've been dealt. Now you can go about using your superpowers to make the world a better place, at least delusionally you can! But first, head over to the Just a Fan forum and check into "Superpowers - Part Three". Winston Legthigh
The first thing I would do is quit my job and buy a ticket to Monte Carlo. I would put my family up in a lux hotel nearby on Cap Ferrat, and then I would head to the casino. Having 10 minutes of foresight, I would place a sizable bet on the roulette table, to win enough for us to live comfortably for the next few months. We would travel to our heart's content, settling down somewhere in Italy so I could take some cooking classes. Since I don't have to sleep anymore (invincibility), I would read read read, practice violin, and exercise at night to get into prime condition. Whenever I would need money, I would just pop into a casino to make a bet here and there. To make a regular income, I would open an e*trade account to make modest bets on the stock market. Nothing outlandish, just some simple trades if my foresight would tell me that a certain stock would rise or drop within the next 10 minutes. I would spend the first 10 or so years getting rich, and providing for my family. Eventually I would turn to the world's problems. I wouldn't be much of a crime fighter, but instead, I would invest heavily into solar power, water desalination, and agritech. my invincibility would be more used to use time to soak in as much knowledge as I could, an to become and expert luthier. Guest Don Draper
A random integer selection gave me 10 - invisibility.
