Arguing with Jeff Tweedy

Recommended Posts

So I'm trying to cut up some carrot sticks for crudites for Thanksgiving, and I'm being really careful and cutting them up neatly, all the same size. They were very long carrots so I was cutting them in thirds. Our conversation started out pleasantly enough:

Me: See, Jeff, I'm peeling these carrots and then...

Jeff (at far higher volume than was probably necessary) "...then you cut it in half!"

Me: No Jeff, these need to be in thirds.

Jeff, loud and insistent: "THEN YOU CUT IT IN HALF!"

I just ignored him but honestly he kept carping about it for like 3 minutes!

I cut them in thirds. Don't take cooking advice from a musician.

It may be surprise for all with reputation of the Swedish, but I have never used the carrot in the crude way. I shall try at your recommendation!

Welfare!

P.S. I will not cut in half as I am used to Olsen! Ha ha!

P.P.S. I write Olsen from polite habit, but in truth it is Anders from butcher shop who has record and I give thanks as in your tradition!
