CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG??????????
-
There?
yep. around here you have to wait 20 minutes sometimes for a post. it used to be constant. there's a lot more posting over there than there is here, regardless of the amount of members.
-
trust me, there's a lot more excitement there than there is here, regardless of how few members there may be.

a huge loss...RIP Clarence
-
I sincerely hope he comes out ok and survives. however, this is what eating 4 chickens per show will get you.
-
vibes for Aman and bleedorange! tough stuff to go through - hope you both come out of it ok!

Parks and Recreation was hilarious last night. "gimme another Snork Juice!"

I quit cold turkey in 2004. it was really tough, but not feeling guilty every time I lit up felt great. once I stopped, I craved them once in a while, but eventually I was repulsed when I'd have to walk behind someone smoking, etc. good luck - you can do it!

have a great day! :party :party

I didn't think much of this show. too much set up. maybe it will get better...

Seriously, though - what is there to do? Only eat canned food from last year? Only drink really old bottled water? Panic?
No, I think we need to channel this outrage into demanding that first and foremost our nuclear reactors are safe; that no more new reactors are built; and that all of our energy money and effort be focused on ramping up truly clean energy sources like solar, wind, geothermal, tidal, wave, etc. There's no reason why every municipal building in the southwest (and in many other areas of the country) doesn't have a full array of solar panels on their roof.
All these articles about how bad the radiation is here in the US -- can you imagine what it would be like if a similar accident occurred on US soil? We need to prevent that from happening.
this, this, THIS!

a legend in her own time and she always got what she wanted that's for sure. a true beauty.

personally I don't think there is anything wrong with being prepared. this incident is proof that nuclear power isn't necessarily safe and perhaps we all should be prepared. I saw a poll today that said 56% of those questioned think that nuclear power isn't safe and we should move to wind and solar power. I agree with that sentiment.
my heart goes out to Japan. the devastation is unbelievable and the fallout will affect all of us since so many things we purchase in this country are made in Japan. I can't imagine what the citizens are going through. it's painful to watch.

I purchased potassium iodide last night. maybe I'm being a bit paranoid, but there are at least 2 nuclear reactor sites in my general area, Indian Point in NY is ON A FAULT LINE. I just want to be prepared.

can't believe it's been one year. terrible.

Have a friend who is journo who interviewed him. Says he is a prince amongst a lot of d-bags.
well, I think your friend is incorrect.

I've met Wayne Coyne a couple of times. great guy! very friendly!

WTF is wrong with this woman?
-
I've seen True Grit and Inception. I have to say that I was completely lost during all of Inception and I thought it sucked. should I bother to watch it again?

Gadhafi says to "dance, be happy!" WTF?

he is crazy as a shithouse rat. it seems like the entire Middle East is in upheaval with no one for the citizens to look towards as leaders. it's scary to think what can happen and who can take charge. it can either be better than it is now, or it can be much much worse.
