Holy crap, I'm leaving work right now. I happen to have some Blue Moons chilling in the meat drawer of the fridge.

 

Speaking of...how is it that this drawer is colder than the rest of the fridge? I don't get it.

I'm driving four hours solo. Pretty much a last minute decision but I figured I may not get the chance to see Tweedy solo again.

It looks like I will be driving 9 hours solo (plus lose an hour on the trip due to time change) sans a/c and sans radio/cd player in a car that has an ungodly amount of miles on it. I am actually getting another car but not till my friend moves to Brooklyn in September. This is like the 5th time I had planned to see a Tweedy show the other 4 times plans fell through I am going to make this one happen come hell or high water.

I have had three friends already bail on me and finding out tommorrow if my last friend is going to bail or not he said he was 60/40, but I am coming to Raleigh no matter what. Any cool places in Raleigh I ought to check out?

For fans in the SE... especially those in Alabama... I was told this evening by a close friend who works at the University of Alabama that Wilco has been booked to play in Tuscaloosa in October. Bama's homecoming football game is 10/28... so just maybe they will hit the town that Saturday night!

 

The last time Wilco was in Alabama was the night they won the grammies and they blew the roof off of the Alabama Theatre... hopefully this show will do the same!

Usually within two hours or so of the show ending. I usually don't start the download till midnight to make sure it is a good file with positive comments.

me too! I have been since the 2nd season. it's so awesome and I am so pissed that there will not be a season 4, at least as it stands now.

Season 4 will end with either 2 or 3 2-hour episodes? I can't remember which off the top of my head.

It's really kinda sad but I find myself eagerly looking forward to Sunday nights to see what's going on in that show. I'm fucking hooked.
