  1. Who does that Family Gardener song?

He also played "Dear Employer"!!!! Very nice. caught me by surprise.

    Best verse?.....

    Dear employer, your escalators

Are very dangerous on the way down

They rip the skin and they pull you in

Spit out the bony bits and coffee grounds

    It's a good buy!

  2. Wasn't his response "I don't know any Radiohead songs"? As in he didn't know how to play 'em on guitar?

As in he didn't know how to play 'em on guitar?.......... :dontgetit

As in he didn't know how to play 'em on guitar? ......... :rotfl

Come on! You have got to be kidding......Right?

JEFF did say he didnt know any rafiohead songs but it was more like because, "thome yorke cant even string JEFF TWEEDYS GUITAR."......I said that :D

  3. Have any of you heard this song from 05-03-05? I'm trying to download the show right now. Coming pretty slow. BUT I was wondering how it sounded live with some of the guys. Damn I love this song. I'm trying to play it but it's not looking/sounding too good.

  4. Again, sadly, in the heat of the moment, I had little time to really TALK to most of the people I wanted to talk to. Next time you come here, mkay???

Absolutely! :yes We WILL be back.

I have not mentioned this, but we would like to thank you and Leigh for the time and effort you both put into this GREAT event (and it was an event)! It was nice to meet people from all over the country. Everyone was kick ass! :thumbup

  5. Let me now take this time to apologize to Jeff. I requested The Family Gardener and it was such a delight to hear. What an incredibly beautiful and moving song :D . Not easy to play on the acoustic guitar all by yourself.

However, Jeff kicked ass and played it well. BUT he got to a certain line in the song and could not remember exactly how the lyrics went. He then asked who requested it. I raised my hand and he asked me what that line was.......well, needless to say if Jeff were grading my reply I would have received a F-!

    SHIT!

My time to shine and pull one through for the greatest songwriter of my fucking lifetime and I dropped the ball. The correct lyric is: "As I look down with my two eyes and my two green thumbs..." I said green eyes....???....GREEN? Gawh! How stoopid! :monkey Anyway,

SORRY JEFF.... I can't thank you enough for playing it. It meant a lot to me.

  6. SUM' BITCH!

It took us a long time to get back to TEXAS. "Our horse Jethro, Well he went mad."* AND I have to admit....We did not want to leave. Let me start off by saying I have not read all the posts yet so I will not say a whole lot YET for the sake of not repeating a buncha shit. However, the people we met on Sat. night were all cool as shit. We did not expect less! Jeff :rock and Sue :wub are incredible people and I will never be able to truly show the appreciation we have for them and what they have done.

NOW, let me take this time to express how impressed we were with the kindness and sharing spirit of all the people we met living in and around CHICAGO. You should be very proud of yourselves and your city....THANK YOU.

Oh, and Ron Cey.....You thought you were slick paying for our cab ride back to the Hotel didn't ya. :lol

Thank you to everyone. We'll be back. I have a lot to say so I will take it slow. Lets say this is part 1 :D
