Jeff's really the reason why I'm "with the guys", so absolutely positively not.
I like them all for what they bring to the plate, but it just wouldn't be as meaningful for me anymore.
Seconded. Jeff Tweedy is Wilco. At least to me. The others are fantastic, outstanding musicians and people, and I'd go and see a show by them anytime (I've seen an Autumn Defense show in 2004, and it was brilliant), just not as "Wilco", as Wilco w/out Jeff just is the unthinkable.
I'd go, but it wouldn't be Wilco. It would just be another good band.See my above post. It wouldn't be Wilco anymore, and I wouldn't be able to cope with them playing Wilco songs - but I'd definitely go and see a show by a new band consisting of those amazing musicians.

Edited post of mine from another forum:
I'm thankful for being able to look into the most beautiful pair of big green puppy eyes on a foggy Saturday morning, which belong to the only person I ever wanted to be with, I ever loved unconditionally & endlessly, who ever loved me back the same way, and who consequently is the only person that has never betrayed me, lied to me, fucked me over.
I'm thankful for my beautiful horrible daughter who challenges me every day and enriches our life with countless things.
I'm thankful for still having my parents who never cease to amaze me, support me, encourage me.
I'm thankful that I got to see 3 completely amazing Wilco shows this spring after a break of almost 2 years, spending time on the road with great people.
Last but not least, I am thankful for all the other great people I had the chance to meet either online or in real life this year, they know who they are.
And finally last I am thankful for being such a bastardly bitch when I need to be, never giving in when I want to achieve something (as that is sometimes the only thing that helps you survive), no matter what it costs me, and consequently following my own high standards & applying them to others as well, even if it means to lose in the end - but at least I can look into the mirror every morning without having to puke.

"Bohemian Rapsody" is amongst the handful songs where I will never in my whole life forget the moment when I heard them for the first time

I haven't got a Wiiiii but my husband is Network Administrator at Nintendo Of Europe. Does that count

Coulnd't agree more, Heidi
Yes it is very unusual for them to not give any sort of explanation ("scheduling issues" really doesn't say anything), given that people have booked "no cancellation-no refund"-trips, and I sincerely feel for everyone who's lost money (in normal case it would have been us too, thankfully we needed to wait for job info before we could book anything, and it turned out we couldn't go) in this.
But I am sure the band feels just as bad about this.

They should really make up for cancelling those UK shows and fit some German dates in during those dates that are now available
I'm even offering my living room for a spontaneous living room show
You're all invited
-
I figured it was something really awful like this
Take it easy, Lou, and get all the rest you need to sort this out
-
Happy Birthday
-
-
It just feels like we're second class
I used to have - and still have around that time of the year - that feeling about the living room shows and that us Europeans will never ever get a chance like that, but then I know that it's probably down to insurance issues and not because Jeff wouldn't like my living room

Get out of town - the only way to eat gammon steak is with pineapple rings...
But I've never heard of gammon steak with mint. Wrong four legged farm animal. It's the one with the woolly coat that goes well with mint sauce
That is what I thought... but, being Welsh, I can't comment on anything with a woolly coat... *ahem*And it's ALWAYS eggs with gammon, pineapple - never!
The pub down the road from where I work offers you upto 6 eggs when you order gammon and chips...
I know I know how to eat gammon and what goes with mint sauce. I just put together the 2 things that are the most imaginable food horror to me in order to scare Paul
-
Will you be a grumpy Brit, though? Sorry, couldn't resist.
You bet
It's gonna be gammon steak in mint sauce then instead of Soljanka & Currywurst

I think it is a bloody disgrace of you people who are lucky enough to celebrate Thanksgiving to make the rest of the world starve in awe![:cryin](https://viachicago.org/uploads/emoticons/default_cry.gif)
