Small world. That's about 20 minutes from where I live, in Branford, CT. Fenwick's cool, right on the water. Enjoy.

I like the version from the 99 period, with Jeff screaming at the end of the song, and no more than 14 nothings.

IMO, too many nothings does surely get a bit tedious. It seems to make the version less tight. Less than 15 sounds about right.

The 7-16-06 Florence, MA show was the best version I've seen in person, actually, the best Wilco show I've ever seen period. It included Wishful Thinking, Hesitating Beauty and Far, Far Away, and The Late Greats (If you can believe that).

The KT version is dang good as well.

I hear it's this bizarre new band called Rockin' Raul and the One-Eyed Tree Dwarf. I don't know them at all.

They are not nearly as good as they were in the early '90s although they're still decent. I saw them "open" for Radiohead at Giant's Stadium (June '03) and they were pretty lame and only played for about 40 minutes; then Radiohead tore it up for almost 3 hours.

My brother in law shared gigs with the Beasties at places like CBGB in the early 80s and says they're cocky punks.

Paul's Boutique and Check Ya Head were the pinnacle of their careers.

My wife noticed "What Light" playing in a restaurant tonight. I was preoccupied with a baseball game, but heard the last few bars.

You were watching the Brew Crew beat up on the Cardinals? I have Bill Hall on my fantasy team and he's been ice cold. Jeff Suppan was a great off-season pickup for them. I wish them well this season and would love to see them in the playoffs.

I wish that I could be there -- I am going to be in CT just a few weeks earlier, so will miss them when they are here -- but hope you guys have just the best time!
