I just added 30+ new shows to the archive:
-
I have been boycotting TM for about 3 years now. No TM shows for me. They're just not worth it.

That EP she released was really good. I wouldn't mind if her new release sounded more like that. Hopefully retro equals not 1975 but 1575.
Can't wait for something new.

Y'all's peoples eat oatmeal?

Apparently it's relatively even-handed. Or did I completely misunderstand what Stephen Colbert said in his interview with Stone?
-
Sorry guys, maybe I'll use your questions on my next interview subject.
-
I'm voting by mail. I hope I don't have to send my ID card in with my ballot.

It does seem kind of weird that the 3cd version would be $115 more than the 2cd version. And by "weird," I mean "really dumb."
-
Yea, I'd just kind of like to hear it before I decide to drop $100 on the vinyl.

The Bootleg Series.

Has this shit leaked yet?
Tony uses snakes to wash his windshield. He calls them "windshield vipers."

Most of the first season of Twin Peaks is awesome. Blue Velvet is kind of bad (but mainly because of Dennis Hopper). So is Mulholland Dr. I'm ambivalent on Lost Highway. Dune, well, it's Dune.
I've heard people call him one of America's greatest directors. I'm not so sure about that.
I voted "other."

Hey everyone, here's another opportunity for you to contribute to Owl&Bear. We'll be doing an interview with Golden Smog's Dan Murphy next week in anticipation of their Best Of album.
I'm not sure how long the interview will be, but we'll do our best to include any questions that the VC community might have!
Post questions below!

I might go look for sidewinders in the desert.

Hey everyone. Dean passed away last night after his family decided that the suffering would only continue with no relief in sight.
He was a good man who lived a full life, and he was loved by his family and friends. He will be missed, but his suffering is over. I know that his children will continue to appreciate life and be courageous in his image.
Thank you all for your prayers and vibes. It really means a lot. Take care, all of you.

Thanks everyone. You can't possibly know how awesome you are.
He's still hanging on. It's been a very emotional day. The doctors say that he'll start to improve if he makes it through the next 12 hours.
-
Thanks everyone, he made it through the night, which was a surprise to everyone.
But if you can afford a little more, he really needs it now.
I sure appreciate it.

I have a friend who has cancer. Due to complications, doctors just gave him a 1 in 10 chance of surviving the next 24 hours.
Please send vibes to Dean Robert Brubaker and his wife, son, and two daughters.
Sorry for the grim note, but for some reason, ViaChicago seems like the place to go for this kind of thing.

16 hours of live coverage for the announcement of Obama's #2?
Jesus.
And by that, I mean Jesus will need to be the running mate if 16 hours of live coverage is supposed to sound appealing.

I was thinking about seeing him this year. It's been about 10 years since I last saw him.

Are any of you interested in doing 250-700 word interviews and reviews of shows, albums, movies, or TV for Owl and Bear (home of the Wilco Archive)?
You'd have to be willing to be edited for grammar and/or gross inappropriateness, and be willing to commit to five posts.
There's no pay, but 1,000 people visit the site every day. I can get you into some shows for free.
PM me if you're interested.
