looks more like Jack White's pants to me.

you leave Mr. Zimmerman and his beard alone. he can do as he pleases - and he's always awesome, no matter what.

my prediction: there will be at least one studio track that is new to us. i'm guessing "Glad It's Over" or "Let's Fight."

damn, you guys are making me hungry.
also, that break in touring may very well mean they could be recoding their next album, which, if we look at some of the comments members of the band have made, could be out sooner than usual.

>make potato salad.
with peels or without?

sometimes i like it when there are no openers. i guess the opener has to be an artist who i've heard before and liked before i'll get even remotely excited...

>I don't imagine that they made a deliberate attempt to make their song sound similar to George's.
kinda like they didn't make a deliberate attempt at "Hello Sunshine" for "You Are My Face"? j/k. what's that famous case of George having copied another, older song when he did "My Sweet Lord"?

or you can PM me your e-mail address and i'll send you a high bitrate .mp3.

>Several of those tracks are commercially available, right? I don't think that would go over well.
it would on a good torrent site. lossless please. :-)

eta: not that i'm for or against the theft of B-sides and rarities. i have originals of at least half of those tracks, so.....

i'm really disappointed that SBS doesn't have higher ratings.

to answer your question: i currently live in Richmond, but i'm originally from the southwestern part of the state.

if i say you driving around VA anytime, i'm going to honk my horn and gesture wildly.

"Leave Me (Like You Found Me)" has always been one of my favorites. it may not necessarily be the best song on the record or anything, but i've always loved it. does anyone know if they've played it live yet? the last time i checked, they hadn't...

>It's pretty ridiculos that I bought Louisville tix for fear of them not coming around here for awhile. But that will be worth the 9 hour drive times two as Dr. Dog has my reigning album of the year.
my cousin (who lives in Charlottesville) did the same thing when he bought Dylan tickets in Maryland and then a couple days before they went on sale, the C-ville sho was announced...

got my pre-sale tickets today. nice to see a GA show! which begs the question: why have a pre-sale if it's GA anyway?

someone already made that exact same post. you should have searched the message boards for the three-letter word "wow."

it's true literature.
at any rate, around this time last year, he spoke a little bit about Volume 2 in the Rolling Stone interview. he said the furthest back he'd be going is 1966, or something to that effect.

it's a b-side for "Sleeping Lesssons" (i think). either way the release date of the single is 9/3.

you gotta wonder why they are doing a pre-sale for a GA show.

yeah, everyone knows it's proper message board etiquette to read every word of every single post from the entire message board's history before making a new post...or even before posting a response to an already existing thread.

question: if i want to get front row, how early will i have to que up? only a couple hours prior, right? i mean, i remember waiting a good 6 hours in freezing November weather to get a dozen rows back when seeing a General Admission Dylan show back in '02! i'm sure that won't be necessary here, but any tips would be much appreciated, as i plan on visiting with some people in C-ville and generally being in town all day.
