believe me - it's not as easy as you think to be the voice of reason to a teenager - especially a teenage girl. Kevin - I welcome your additions to my list - I could add to it even more......the culture of which I speak knows no racial or gendered boundaries.....it is an infection of the worst degree.....and only seems to be getting worse. Women are selling themselves out left and right to fit these molds of what it means to be "meaningful" and "valued" This culture of shallow, celebrity obsessed, materialistic, hypersexualized crud gets more and more out of control as the days pass......It is quite sad.

yeah - I wouldn't have thought to check on something like that if I had tickets - I just happened to hear about it on the lunchtime news......and was bummed, because all week I was looking forward to the first Friday night game - starting back up our Friday night baseball and pizza ritual. A Twins fan on TV speculated it was because they used up all their middle relievers yesterday and were too scared to play......that man could be onto something.
