Well, Temple of Doom was one of the worst movies ever - so I am pretty sure they can improve upon the franchise.

read, slept, snuggled, drank beer, played Nintendo, watched the Bears, played violin and had a few lattes from White Hen. I had a lovely long weekend.

I picked this up for my mother in law for Christmas and it looked so intriguing that I had to pick up a copy myself. It arrived today and I am about to crack it open.....

It was definitely an experience - I enjoyed the slideshow/book readings though it got a bit long....the film was like a loud nightmare or bad acid trip - though I found it strangely intriguing. Afterwards he took questions and woah boy, the man can talk......he talked for over an hour and a half, answering questions......all in all, a decent night out. Oh yeah, and we bumped into Crispin on the street and I talked to him for a minute......too cool! Thanks for going with me Rocky - t'was good to see you again....as always.

Rocky and I are going to the Crispin Glover thing tomorrow - we talked about going today, since I will be down in the city for a class, but he said he would likely be too drunk and passed out by 7pm. I think he said they were starting at 10:30am at the bar to get a good seat and start drinking.....ouuuch.

I haven't watched a college football game since I was a kid and lived with my dad - so that is at least 20 years ago......so, needless to say I could personally give a crap about who wins. But, for my dear pal Rocky's (MrRain422) sake I hope Michigan obliterate OSU!!

we had the same problem when we got the Sunday Chicago Trib, and we only lived in a building with 14 units......the only thing we could do to assure we got it was to wake at the crack of dawn and go downstairs and get it. We also tried to think of ways to catch the paper thief, but never had any success. I always looked forward to the Sunday paper and a morning on the sofa reading through it. I know what a bummer it is to have it disappear - good luck!

I read that after hearing him on Fresh Air a couple years ago......it is a great read.
