yeah - was watching the baseball and am trying to squeeze just a few more minutes out of my day before facing the work week. Sounds like some good eats! We had Little Caesars and Budweiser for dinner with MrRain422......a little food and drink to represent each of our hometowns.

my whole adult life I have been dreaming about acquiring a pair of chunky toed saddle shoes - like doc marten style. I bet something like this exists somewhere - though I am not very good about finding such things. My mom made some stellar costumes when I was a kid. She didn't believe in the plastic sheet costumes that came with the masks. So, we'd buy the mask and then she'd sew a costume......we did the Pink Panther, Wonder Woman, Garfield (we made a huge paper mache head), a clown, a witch, and Princess Leia. ....and Evonne this is perfect - we got a fakey Christmas tree last year, and

That was an exciting 9th - too bad Yadi couldn't deliver again. Props to Kenny Rogers, the dog poop on his hand, and one amazing game.....he looked really good. A deserved win! On to St. Louis!

What's this with this talk of the Cardinals going every year? They went in 2004 and before that they had not been since 1987...... I honestly don't expect the Cardinals to win the World Series and I have a lot of respect for the Tigers team this year. Of course I WANT the Cardinals to win, and I am on cloud nine today......but, I am also realistic. I am just looking forward to a good series. I hope the Cards show up. well, I have been saying for a month that the Tigers would win the World Series and was pulling for them through the AL series'......never expected the Cardinals to meet them. I am still in shock. I really wish I was back home in STL - it's just not the same being far away. It's the buzz of the city that is the best part of all of this.....that Sox run last year was so amazing, just being in the middle of all of it. However, when the Cardinals do this, it's like being an 8 year old all over again......

I had an MRI today and I have to say that is one freakin weird, scary machine.......the noises it makes are ungodly.....however, I had on noice reduction heaphones and the nurse pumped Sinatra into them on my request.....it was surreal.
