Anyone have an extra RSD bag that they don't mind parting with? My store ran out of them in the first hour.

SarahC - what's the deal with the ATL venue?

As do a lot of other fans. Ryan would strongly disagree though.

Great score for only $6. Which store was this?

If you check the bidding history the same two bidders have been outbidding each other for the past couple of days.

Just tuned in. What did I miss?

Probably so. I'm curious to see if this was the tour wrap-up for
Port of Morrow.

Was Jessica playing with The Shins? Heard she left
recently to concentrate on her own band Deep Sea Diver.

Who is Harry Nilsson... (And Why Is Everybody Talkin' About Him?) is worth seeking out.

Are email notifications still not functioning?

Excerpt from the Columbia show review:
Oh, during the encore, Jeff mentioned that the band had been touring for about a year now in support of The Whole Love and for those who have been keeping track, there is one song off the record that the band has yet to play live. For a second, I thought we might actually get the debut of Sunloathe. But alas, Jeff quickly quashed that idea. He did, however, say that we should keep our eyes open this week for the release of a video for the song made by drum tech Nate Murphy (who, incidentally, was decked out in an amazing leisure suit and wig combination).

Anyone able to save the Newport stream?

I really love the early version of Spiders. The performance from Cajun House in Arizona, 3/11/2002. Glenn's opening drumming is killer!
I seem to recall the mention of "sounds like U2" when they first started playing Spiders in 2002.
John's quote from the article:
"That was kind of the way the song originally was demoed. I heard Jeff perform it solo at a benefit, it was like a 9/11 benefit we did at the Metro, that I put on with some other people. He performed it like that solo, and I thought it was really nice. We demoed it that way, but we could never get Jim O’Rourke to get behind it, you know? (laughs) Who knows? It might have been a hit that way. But every time we did it in the studio it sounded a little bit too U2. But even then, we didn’t quite do it the way we do it now. It has a different sort of sensibility, a different tone."

XRT DJ commented earlier this was the fourth live broadcast from the band on XRT. Twice at Taste of Chicago. Guessing other was from residency show.
