I love Rhett and Id never heard him play California Stars which is one of my favorite wilco songs, annyone have a copy?

Probably my sixth or seventh show over the last several years and one of the best.

 

I have to say, what was up with Jeff moaning about the fans clapping during Spiders? That version of Spiders was really memorable with the cool guitar harmonics Jeff was doing and then he had to go on ruin the moment.

i think the average concert go-er not familiar with the spiders pause then jam was like why the hell am i clapping if its over???...

This is an interesting development. But isn't it a bit of an overreaction to be suggesting the band is dead forever already?

I dont think so - there were mullings this was the end with a new raconteurs album and this big lets go everywhere on earth and play on busses tour... i think icky thump being made surprised people. Im new-er to following this band but as it may be a knee jerk reaction i am worried its a total possibility...

because icky thumps incredible... i love the raconteurs too but i hope this isnt it for them... but i think it could very well be

Given how drunk/high Tweedy was during the making of 95% of Wilco's music, it's the least he can do to allow us to alter our state while consuming to mirror his at the time of creation. It's a rock show, ferrockinoutloud, let us have our beer...fuggit, a flask and a one-hitter. saul good.

the decemberists sound checked around noon their show there... they did come out and sign autographs and talk to eople though

I don't know, they never have had any of these rules for the Taste of Chicago or even the Decemerists show, to the best of my knowledge.....

no. there is some period of time where the brown doesnt run.. theres nowhere open you could be coming from late enough in the city to miss an el...

Anyone know where I could find recordings of this years Lolla shows? as it was on the At&T blueroom im assuming many if not all were recorded or will be when theyre archived... besides largeheartedboys usual archives where should i look?
