  1. i finally got to see the dvd last night! my wife and i sat down to watch it last evening, and we loved it to say the least. though at its length it almost felt like a tease; i certainly didn't want it to end. i could have watched it all night.

Ditto, but a few days later as we did the same thing last night finally. :)

Enjoyed the family bits/photo shoot too. Neat to see baby Tallulah (sp?). :) Watching all three guitars* on Impossible Germany was fantastic!

ETA: *They did show a glimpse of Pat on that one didn't they? :hmm Can tell I already need to watch it again.

  6. Profiles of some of the victims.

"No Earthly Good" by Johnny Cash popped on my iTunes when I started reading these. Man....

    From the article:

Professor Liviu Librescu, 76, was an Israeli-born Romanian academic in the Engineering Science & Mechanics Department. He was also a Holocaust survivor and moved to Virginia in 1985.

Internationally renowned for his research work, he has been hailed a hero for blocking a doorway to protect his students.

His son Joe said he had received e-mails from several students who said he had saved their lives.

This is all so incredibly sad.

  7. Guess that answers that question! :hmm :lol Probably better to wait for the line-up anyway in our situation. Can't wait to find out though. :yes

Oh. ETA: I thought they would wait to sell regularly priced tix until mid May when the line-up was announced? My bad. Another dilemma...
