  1. Managed to squueze into all 3 by luck, the loveliness of our tribe and a little bitty hustle...man oh manv it was so much fun.. and they sounded great. 2. Thanks for putting these together! "Just a Kid" for Lilah was my request for my daughters whose best friend moved from Chicago to Texas to get out of the city during the virus. Found out her bestie is staying in Texas and they won't be near each other. "Just a Kid" is Lilah's fave and she was so blown away she thought for a second I was pranking her. But she thought it was amazing! Just another act of kindness on a long list of mitzvah's.

  3. Tuesday April 28th is my birthday so I'm working the streets looking to get some love on the Tweedy Show for "Every Little Thing" Or "Far Far Away" or "Ashes" Come get behind the Weeder on this one!

  4. I can;t make it to this one due to work, but I went to the Dead and Company last year and it was absolutely magnificent. The area around the concerts is gorgeous with something for everyone. I did something different everyday, cenotes, jungle, Tulum ruins, snorkeling, swimming. Amazing place, and the music lineup looks great. It;s one of those things you're not likely to regret.

  5. Tonight's rumored set list for Phil Lesh, based on the band's new found love for Wilco

  6. And in unrelated new, please file under Philco.... Phil Lesh and his band played Thalia Hall  in Chicago Thursday night. They played some great relics from China Cat Sunflower, Dark Star, Uncle Johns Band, Cassidy and Scarlet Begonias. And the encore, of course was Misunderstood. Say wha? Yup Wilco gets covered by Phil Lesh and the Terrapin Family Band. It was a very good cover, all things considered with somewhere around 20 "nothings" Many Deadheads were confused. There were seven of us who were jumping out of our skulls.

  8. For those of you who were able to "sign the sign" that some crazy fanboy dude* brought to the show and passed around the pit.... you'll be happy to know that it put a smile on the face of a certain favorite singer of ours.  Thanks all for making it a great show and a great evening / weekend.  So great to catch up with friends old and new, and spend a fantastic couple of days in Chicago.

Glad to see the banner made it there. See my scrawl and a feel all googly inside. Thanks Vince

  9. I've been seeing the since 1999 and never saw two shows more similar a day apart in the same location. Not sure what it means if anything. I would expect more variety on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday is a radio show that tends towards the hits, Casino Queen etc, so maybe Sunday will be the blown open weird one in the bunch. Their playing together though is so solid it makes up (a bit) for the repetition. Plus they've been off for a few weeks I think. Maybe they are just getting in sync

  10. Thanks Paul. Definitely a superior played performance tonight. The ending, as always, had me elated and happy. The opening to Red-Eyed still gets me going after all these years... I counted 14 repeats from the night before:
