Case *and* point.

I'd like to know what Halfisme thinks. Taint no time to be shy.
-
Taint as bad as the next Wilco album
-
Taint nuthin' but a G thang.

Tickle, tickle, tickle my taint baby

I've said forever that the man should put out a solo record. Just put it all on the line by himself.

I was born free.

If I were trying to start trouble I would start trouble. This is a legit question. And the next album probably will suck. I would figure the music lovers on this board would enjoy this sort of question. But, you paint picklers drain the fun out of any thread.

Because of Kid Rock?! Did this place get its humor balls removed?
-
Or you could beat us in the face with a tire iron. There are all kinds of options to stop us from making fun of a guy who got upset because we made fun of some fucking band.
-
The guy who can't spell his own name correctly? I thought he was the roadie.
-
Oh, let's not let it die! I wanna make fun of Wilco! Well, later Wilco. After Pat joined the band. He's the one that ruined it. And Jeff. And Nels. And Glenn. John's cool though.

What isn't wrong with Kid Rock?
If I could erase him from history, I would. Instead, as a resident of Michigan, he is paraded in front of me far too often. I couldn't even go see Conan O'Brien's tour without enduring a cameo from that douchebag.
Cryp, don't fear the American Bad Ass. Like you he was born free. In Mt. Clemens.

Doesn't suck.
Nickelback = Sucks
Creed = Sucks
Kid Rock = Sucks
Wilco "You and I" = Not so good, but doesn't suck
Since when is there something wrong with Kid Rock?
-
I don't think you listened to "You and I" closely then.

Dear Fellow Wilco-heads,
You are not dumb-asses.
You must know that great records are made by people either in their turbulent youth or in their declining, contemplative years.
Jeff Tweedy, with help, has made several great records in his turbulent youth.
Now he is in the doldrums of middle age, and therefore can not be expected to produce either a work of innovative genius or a statement of reflective wisdom.
The best we can hope for is a record of solidly-written songs performed by a band which has excellent chops.
Will live up to the high standard set by such masterpieces as BT, YHF, and AGIB? No. Will it stoop to the depths of Rod Stewart's American Songbook? No.
If you want your mind to be blown you have to wait a few out.
I hope I'm wrong, and the next one is phenomenal.
You don't talk like this around girls, do you?

seriously I was lucky to get into Wilco later .. cuz I can appreciate EVERY incarnation .. it is ALL good … I dont spend my time whinning about this line up or that one ….I find it all pretty silly and find the critics do it to just seem hip …..its like the whinners would have wanted the Beatles to not go from rubber soul to Abbey Rd … its friking ART my friends enjoy it .. quit whinning about the past ….how abqout if I would have known you 15 years ago how would you like me going, damn you were such a better person back in 1994 YAWN! .. seriously I have had a several drinks and I am just cranky .. I think I will listen to New Madrid and follow it up with You and I just to confuse the shit out of myself .. have a wonderful Thanks Giving
If you had known me in 1994 I would have punched you in the ear.

I'm guessing it shakes out about like this:
AM
BT
ST
YHF
AGIB
SBS
WTA
New album
This is an answer.

There's no time for this! The Jeff reads this, maybe. Probably not. Nevertheless, WILL IT SUCK?!
-
Come on you fat fuckers! Will it suck?!
-
Will it be as bad as a remix of "I Had The Time of My Life"? Maybe not. But they owe that all to you.
