Hoping for some good ticket karma... I just need one... misslaura@nyc.rr.com is the e-mail... thanks!

I, like everyone else, am looking for a ticket to the Bowery Tweedy show. In a perfect world it would be two but one itself would be amazing. I am hoping for a miracle... please...

Thanks for the clarification - I will have to check out this tour diary.

Maybe I took an interview too literally, or maybe he was talking about someone else. Come to think of it, I don't know a ton about Nels' personal life - maybe he was married to someone for 17 years and then met Carla? I read the following and assumed he was talking about Carla: John: What are your feelings on dating? Does being on the road a lot make relationships difficult? Nels: Oh god. I have never been much of a dating person. I didn't do it as a young man -- and I was married for 17 years, until 10 years ago Here is the full interview: http://www.indexmagazine.com/interviews/nels_c

To play devil's advocate, I don't know why everyone is so quick to put the kibosh on any talk of people's private lives on this board. I read a Nels interview where he was discussing his divorce - if he can talk about it during interviews why should we not talk about here? Isn't this an open forum for discussion about Wilco? Already this discussion about Carla led to an interesting story. There are obviously at least 2 people wanting to discuss this - why should they be shot down?

Thanks for posting this. I actually am a big fans of his and love what he has written about Wilco. Now that he's kind of a sports writer I was wondering how I would find out what he thought of Sky Blue Sky. What was his reading for? Does he have something coming out? I have been to a bunch of his readings and know they are always entertaining.

How long was the set?
-
Thank you for saying that. I caught them 3 times over the last week, but Hoodoo Voodoo is one of my faves and I am feeling pretty sad that i didn't get tickets to warsaw right about now. So, even if it's not true... thanks for saying it.

Will someone who was lucky enough to attend the Warsaw show post the set list? Or maybe give a little review?
-
Hey, there's no shame to my game. If I hadn't gotten tickets through Ticketmaster by some strange stroke of good luck I might throw myself into the running (actually, probably not. I would just pay $100/ticket to a scalper). There are no good restaurants in that neighborhood though.

Have an extra, need a date to Wilco show at Hammerstein - $1 (Greenwich Village) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Reply to: sale-345268728@craigslist.org Date: 2007-06-05, 9:23AM EDT Below is my original post from a week ago. There seems to be some confusion so this is the new disclaimer. I have an extra ticket to the Wilco show at the Hammerstein and am totally serious about trying to find a date, though please take this entire ad with a mound of salt (especially the casual encounters bit). This is all about the music, though I am a newl

Ticketmaster. But don't they all go through Ticketmaster in some form? You still paid some crazy $10 fee per ticket anyway, right? Doesn't that mean that Ticketmaster will be mailing your tickets?
