Absolutely love that album!!!! It's my top of this year. I also love the 2nd Isobel Campbell & Lanegan album, Sunday at Devil Dirt. There's a really great local (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) band that released an album on Ramseur this year: Bombadil's "A Buzz, A Buzz" They're great live, and anyone who has a chance to see them should. They have a great, upbeat folk sound. Two other great local bands, American Aquarium and Bowerbirds, put out some good albums this year.
