dear orioles: if you don't roll over for the yankees this weekend, and actually win a game or two*, i will stop calling camden yards "fenway south," for next season. *you have to win two games against the yankees in order for me to comply with this. if you only win one, then i will just not call it fenway south until January of next year.

speak slowly. people always speak too quickly when they're not used to speaking in public. so even if you think you sound retarded, go nice and slow. Look up and make lots of eye contact. if you can make (polite) hand gestures when you're speaking, it shows you believe in what you say and use those hand gestures to emphasize the importantest stuff. good luck!

hey, who would have thought that Mets fans would love the red sox so much? After quite a crappy day, i went to the first five innings of the Mets game (incredible box seats on the first base line--almost literally that i'll be taking advantage of again next season) and just had a great time. Every time the red sox score changed, there was a big cheer, and even some Green Monster Signs. I don't usually care for the goofy sh*t but the apple that comes up and the dunkin cup that goes 'round when a HR is hit is pretty funny.

The mets are playing the nats and i will be sure to say "hi" to willie moe!

I will be at a Mets game on Wednesday evening and i can tell you this: i am very excited. I don't even know who they are playing!!!

I loved loved loved the book when if first came out (i think it originally was an article in OUTSIDE magazine back in early 90's maybe? and enjoy many of Jon Krakuer"s (sp?) books.

Actually, and I think I speak for the bulk of Red Sox Nation, Sox fans do not want to meet the Yankees in any kind of playoff situation every single year. We'd much rather play someone else. And not because we're afraid of the Yankees, but because its so fucking stressful.

My dreamweaver license expired and i need to update my office website. I tried Adobe Go-Live but for some reason I can't get it to actually open any of the old dreamweaver htm files. I need a really simple program that allows me to edit on the fly, all the files that already exist, without having to buy another dreamweaver license to the tune of $399. Thanks in advance.

I knew it wasn't going to be good and i figured my already weak heart couldn't handle it.
