I was just using skype to talk to my friend who is spending a few months in australia. And i have trouble sleeping at night...
I'm planning on watching an episode of "Twin Peaks" and falling asleep after that.
nice... that sounds way more exciting than over here.

Workin' the NIGHT SHIFT!
yeah i tried to go to sleep but couldn't... so now i'm up writing
what's your excuse?
-
well, it looks like the late shift wasn't prepared for the comeback yet.
-
Hmm... not bad, but not stunning either...
i've been digging it

I'll see what I can do, but there are 3-4 mix ideas in front of that one.Plus, as much as I love him, a little Biz goes a long way. Trust me.
yeah, like a song or two a month, and i've got my fix... but all month i'm transfixed by the idea of those two songs.

this is the first image that came up when searching for old labor posters...

you can't beat the biz... especially when he's singing "benny and the jets" with the beastie boys!

Hey night shift. I'm wearing my hat sideways. This is crazy. The do it indeed.
i'm not even wearing a hat right now... i took it off when i got back from fred meyer's

only if you want to be afraid all of the time.
hmm... i'll have to get back to you on that one

Change is inevitable.
should it be feared?

Something tells me the late night VC procrastinators are back in full force
looks like the lineup around here's changed quite a bit during my absence

Word. I never had senioritis, honestly. I just never did work or cared about school.
yep. i spent more time coming up with terms for my slacking than school work.
-
Too late. It hit a year and so back, when I finished sophomore year. The funny thing is, my cumulative rose when I started slacking off.
i think that leaves the realm of "senioritis" and comes into the realm that i've always operated in: "permaslacking"

Hope you keep a journal. Very cool.
i took notes every night before i went to bed; i'm working on some essays about it, as well as some short stories based up there. it was a surreal experience

When I was an English undergrad, we were expected to read about 50 pages every day, for every class--including weekends. For a 12-credit load, that was roughly 1400 pages a week. I remember many mornings of waking up and grabbing a book and reading for hours before even climbing out of bed.
I didn't really mind, though. For the most part, I liked what was assigned.
wow, that's not bad. here i've had about twice that... if i weren't a fast reader i'd never make it through school

My brother thinks the White Sox will lose this year because of letting Thomas go and trading Rowand for Thome. He says "how can you NOT have room on your club for a hall-of-famer" and the loss of speed up the middle (Rowand) will eventually kill their chances.
if all goes well Thomas can wave to the folks back in chicago from the world series.
GO A's!
