He's performing at Uncommon Ground on Saturday night. NEVER MIND, MUST'VE CANCELED. Rb

They played Schubas several months ago and there were maybe 11 people there. Rb

I read a truly amazing piece in MOJO about Neil several yrs ago, causing me to go out and pick up a two-CD comp. I never really listened to it much, unfortunately, and ultimately sold it back. I owe this guy another visit. Rb

I believe Target is selling the combo for around 16 bucks. Rb

Was it $14.99 for the CD/DVD version? Rb

Schubas is offering a "makeup show" with a full band, tickets free to those who had tickets to last weekend's solo snoozefest. Rb

Saw the Sound last night, great show. Picked up a vinyl copy of the new Weiss album while I was at it. Hey "T," why is it that everything you and I seem to like is met by crickets elsewhere? Rb

Were you one of the dancers? Those folks really helped liven up the crowd. Rb

Very cool, nothing listed yet, but I just "friended" 'em, so I'll keep my eyes peeled. Rb

Great news, "T." Can't tell you how excited this makes me. Where's this date listed? Rb

Therein lies the difference ... at Schubas, despite the "Full Band" billing, Buckner played his entire set solo. I'm sure I'd've loved it if Six Parts Seven had joined him but alas, they did not. It was more than a little irritating because there is no way in hell I'd've paid to see the show if I'd known it'd be Buckner solo. Rb

Yes, the show was good. They covered a couple of Neil songs ("Powderfinger" and "Time Fades Away"), as well as "Ring of Fire," and played all their great songs. "Edge of Town" gets me every time, that is one of my favourite songs of the last decade or so. Their set was marred by sound problems (Mark's guitar was having issues), and the sound guy didn't help things by basically ignoring the band all night. All in all, though, great time. Rb

So did anybody from this board turn up at the show? It was a pretty nice crowd for a crappy Sunday night, a good 50 people or so. Wonderful time despite the idiotic sound guy. Mr. K.

The Schubas show was a colossal disappointment. Billed as a "Full Band" show, Buckner sat on a stool and played for an uninspired 75 minutes. I'm done with this guy. Mr. K.
