  1. I'd been going to this awesome open mic night here in Chattanooga at the Tremont Tavern, and the guy who runs the open mic wanted to record a demo for me... after laying down 4 acoustic demos on his Korg studio... I decided to make it a full on album and invite some friends to come help out on some parts... hence the title "Come Together" All of them except my best friend Ben (Sax on Breadcrumbs) and Noah Collins (Backing Vocals on Alone Without You and Tambourine on Muse) were people that I had met @ Tremont. Thanks for previewing it! And hope you enjoy it...

  3. If it helps, I've noticed that it has to flow perfectly. Just like the old mixed tapes. I personally like the flow between the end of I am trying to break your heart, and I'm always in love. The feedback at the end of IATTBYH leads perfectly into the intro of IAIL. Cheers.
  4. This has been an Amazing time to really get into Wilco. Last night's preview felt like a huge release party all around the world. I loved the fact that the server here was so busy, I couldn't connect. I headed over to AtEase to chat. (I don't have an AIM compatable client) There doesn't seem to be that many people stuck in the middle about this record. Most seem to either love it or hate it. I for one think it's mindblowing, and I love how mellow it is, but it rocks when it needs to. Anyway, I'm excited. Previously I'd only heard "What Light" and "Please Be Patient" acoustic in Atlanta and of
  5. I'm pumped about this album... I get a sort of white album vibe. I dig it. Nels is amazing! I love how much more melody he brings into the solos.
  6. Thanks guys! BTW picking up tickets to see Jeff in ATL today. Cheers
  7. Ok, so I'm a newbie, I bought YHF when it came out, gave it a couple of listens and put it on the shelf. Recently, I picked it back up, and I don't know what I was thinking when I put it down, I love this album. I got the Sunkin Treasure DVD a few days ago and been blown away. I've bought all the albums, but I'd like to make a best of to get started. Any suggestions? Any help would be appreciated. So far my favorite songs are IATTBYH, War on War, Ashes of American Flags, Hummingbird, Theologians, Shot in the Arm, Sunken Treasure, California Stars... please help.
