  1. And the kicker is I had felt going into the show that the club environment may lead to an unplanned treat in the encore. Instead, it was the complete opposite.
  2. Arrrgh. I just KNEW that they cut the show short, and to see that we missed out on an acoustic Jesus, Etc. hurts. The death blow, as I saw it, was as Shot in the Arm was starting up, a woman from over by the bar -- the area Jeff had already remarked on -- yelled out "CALIFORNIA STARS!" Jeff looked over that way but didn't say anything, because they had already started playing. I figured he didn't like it all, especially in the acoustic context, and sure enough ...
  3. These are four consecutive seats in Row EE, right on the aisle (2, 4, 6, 8) and four rows back in the section. They’re in one of the side orchestra sections, with only two other seats on the row, so if you get all four it’s almost like having your own little row! See the seating chart in the thumbnail below or here: http://www.dar.org/sites/default/files/CH_seating_large.jpg Selling all four for $250 or two for $125. Got these in the initial presale, but then got better seats in another presale, and am simply trying to recoup costs. Unfortunately these are traditional hard tickets, but upon
  4. Thanks, you sum up well my attraction to that Norva show -- especially after the seated show in D.C. two nights prior, which will be great in its own way, but different. I’ve only been to a couple of shows at the Norva, but I’ve been to a ton of shows at the 9:30 Club, and from what I recall they’re fairly similar venues. And re: the “Richmond show,” I agree that it seems to be a inadvertent mistake … though there is that rather convenient hole in the schedule on Mon 2/8 between D.C. and Norfolk! And there is nothing scheduled at either the National, the Altria (still the Mosque to me) or th
  5. Richmond show?! I trust that's a typo, but ..... Anyone have any intel/guesses on the chances that the Norva show in Norfolk will sell out in advance? It's a Tuesday night in Norfolk in February, but it's also a Wilco club show. Can't decide if I should pull the trigger on tix, since I'm not sure I can go. I do have great seats for the D.C. show, fortunately.
