  7. No, that was not my intent. Given you have chosen to not take my word, and in doing so, implied that I am a liar, what is the point of continuing with this line of discussion? Nothing I say will be taken at face value.

But one example: "If we apply sola scriptura to slavery, I'm afraid the abolitionists are on relatively weak ground.   10. If you choose to believe something that has no basis in fact, I have the right to question that belief. Religious belief is, in now way, in my opinion, equitable with race, sex or sexual preference
