PJ is and has always been my #1 since I saw them in 92' at Lollapolooza 2 in Chicago after Ten came out..........I have always been a critic of their music owning so many of their bootlegs.....all of their albums....and seeing them 10 times live........I will say this solo album is better than the band's last three studio albums(Binuaral....Riot Act.......Pearl Jam) imo..........it is absolutely amazing........Eddie V should do more of this.........when he wrote the song for Big Fish(Man of the Hour) and songs for this........it really shows his ability to feel the movie's vibe and what the st -
saw him with Wilco when they were at the Crossroads here in KC.......I will say he is an amazing artist and musician........however I could not get the chicken from the old Robin Hood cartoon that whistles that song out of my head.........so unfortunately their is a mental block when it comes to his obsessive whistling and music........

I agree with those that said Echo by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and Tigerlily by Natalie Merchant.........two of my all time favs.......also I would like to throw out there Swamp Ophelia by The Indigo Girls.........the harmonies and beauty of the songs on there is amazing.........also to me No Code by Pearl Jam should be on this list........to most this album was not Ten or Vs and did not have the hits that Vitalogy had.........but to me it was and will always be their best..........I love the mellow vibe of the album and this was also when they were fighting with Ticketmaster.........so

Loved the dvd documentary.......I agree with the statement that they are the best american rock and roll band..........always loved TP and the Heartbreakers..........highlight to me was when he and Stevie Nicks sang Insider on the live dvd.........that was out of this world..........
