Leigh here. My husband (Dan) and I are coming from Baltimore for our 5th Solid Sound. We used to live in CT, but don't mind the extra drive. We are bring our 15 Y. O. son and a friend, so nobody offer him any weed, k? You can go ahead and offer it to me though, I might need it.

It was a perfect, rocking, greatest hits set for a festival. I was with 8 people, 4 hadn't seen Wilco before, and 3 of those came back as big fans. I was worried when the first 3 songs were from SW. After Via Chicago, one friend turned to me and said, "I'm so confused." I said, I know. Awesome, isn't it?"

And the severe thunderstorms predicted never showed!

Me too. The school handled it really well. It's really hard to say if what happened was justified. There is not big outcry, but I'm sure there is more that will come out in the investigation. Maybe the community is smart for waiting to react until the facts come out. There is so much grey area here.

One of my 8th graders got shot by a Baltimore city cop yesterday. He was waving around a gun that looked real and when the police told him to drop it and stay still, he held onto it and ran. He's not a bad kid, either. Just dumb and scared. He'll be ok. Tough way to learn a lesson. Could've been much worse.

I was expecting to go, but had another commitment (being a responsible adult stinks sometimes....). How was the show??

It was great. I had a shit day at work and the happy hour helped a lot.

Dr Dog with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. Happy hour starts at 5:30, and so far this day has been absolute shit, so those $3 craft cans are going to go down easy.

I saw them last night in York, PA.  They are playing songs in acoustic arrangements, super vocals.  Go see them this tour if you can.

Watch this space.  Still underwhelmed by each and every announcement save FOTC (whom I am seeing already in Chicago).  I reserved a hotel, but may cancel if it doesn't make sense for me to go.  I hate the after-market thing of marking up tickets above the face value, so would much prefer to sell at face to a real music lover

I was at that Hunter Center show. I was right up front so my sightlines were good, but the sound wasn't very. Went to Hartford the next night and saw them in one of the best sounding rooms I've been in, was quite the juxtaposition.
